Reschedule Appointment

READ FIRST:

Our scheduling systems are designed to maximize our efficiency and minimize our impact on the environment.  We schedule people according to when we have other services in the area.  As such, it may take several weeks to get an appointment back on the schedule if you have to reschedule.

Reasons you shouldn't need to reschedule:

  • You can't be home.
    • Inside of the house is guaranteed for basic pest control service, even if we don't treat inside.
    • Our Technicians have all passed drug tests and background checks and we have a great reputation in the community.  We also have great insurance.  That means you can trust us with a hidden key or a garage code if we do need to go inside.
  • Bad weather or rain.
    • If the service can't be done because of bad weather, your Technician will take care of contacting you to reschedule.  Since weather predictions are rarely correct, the Technician will usually make the decision to reschedule because of weather at the time of service.
    • We can do most of our services in light rain.  We have designed a special “rainy day” service where we make granular applications and achieve the same great results.
    • In heavy rain or if there is excessive standing water, we may treat indoors and covered areas only at the time of the appointment and return at a later, drier date and time to treat the outside.
  • We were just there for a re-treatment
    • Our re-treatments are not designed to replace regular service.  They are more of a touch up service to get you to the next service.
    • This will throw our routing off again and we might not be able to get you back on the schedule when you need us.

Reasons you would need to reschedule:

  • Workers are going to be present in the treated areas and they can't leave for a few minutes.
  • You have a dangerous pet that you can't put up unless you are home and you can't be home.

IF RESCHEDULE IS NECESSARY:

How do I find the customers current appointment to be rescheduled?

> Search customers name, address, or previous invoice

> Confirm clients address in case there are multiple customers with the same name

> Click the tab titled Jobs and locate the job in question by looking at it's time and date

How do I reschedule the appointment once I've found it?

> Ask The Customer for the preferred date of reschedule

> If they would like to be rescheduled within 14 days of the current day ask them for their reason (refer back to reasons to reschedule and not reschedule above) and their preferred date and time. Make a note of what they say on their profile and then  tag their technician.

> If they would like to be rescheduled later than 14 days of the current day, then you should ask them for a date and time (relevant to business hours for the technician) and then schedule the job there and mark it as "confirmed", so that it doesn't get moved in the future.

What do I do once I have completed the conversation with the customer and have successfully rescheduled their appointment?

> Add a note under the Notes tab in the customers file outlining what they called for and what actions were taken to assess their needs.
