Rodent/Wildlife Control Service
This program applies to Rats, Mice, Squirrels, Possums, and Raccoons. The first step is always identification of the pest. Often, all we know is that there is a noise in the attic. Knowing when the noises happen can narrow it down. We also can look at droppings, entry points, and tracks to figure out what pest is causing the problem.
What's Included?
For any of the pests mentioned here, we offer a comprehensive control program that includes trapping indoors, baiting outdoors in tamper-proof bait stations, and repair of exterior entry points. Our goal is to remove the pests that are there and prevent new ones from entering in the future. It takes 2 to 20 visits over 1 to 4 weeks to gain control. After the initial problem is solved, we return every 6 months to reload any bait stations and check on the exclusion.
How much is it?
Because these type of pest problems are never the same, we usually need to visit your house to know what the exact cost will be. The initial cost can range from $125, for simple fixes, to $1000 for houses with more complicated issues. For the return visits every 6 months, most houses are $89 to $175 per visit.
Is there a warranty?
This service should achieve a 100% eradication of these pests in your house for 6 months. We will return, for no additional charges, if those results are not achieved.
Do I need to be home?
You will need to be home for the estimate to tell us where you are seeing/hearing the pests. You do not need to be home after that. If we need to go inside for subsequent visits, you can meet us there or leave us a key or garage code.
How long does it take?
The bid and most of the visits will take around 30 to 45 minutes. The visit when we repair the entry points can take 2 or 3 hours. That visit is happens after we catch all the pests that are going inside.
How do I pay?
You will get an invoice by email immediately after service. You can pay online using a link in the email or you can pay the Technician with a credit card or check. We can securely store your credit card information for future services.
How do I prepare for service?
For us to be able to do the service, all outside pets must be put up, the sprinklers must be off, and the house should be free of excessive clutter. After the service, you do not need to worry about your children or pets. Secondary poisoning is not a concern with the type and amount of rodenticide we use. We only apply rodenticide in tamper proof containers, so children, pets and non-target wildlife can not access it. Any traps we use will also be out of reach of children and pets or placed in tamper proof containers.
