Carpenter Ant Service
How much is it?
We offer a carpenter ant treatment that comes with a 6 month warranty for $250 + tax.
We also offer a balanced billing option that includes annual termite inspection plus spot treatment of either carpenter ants or subterranean termites for $16.60+tax / month. 1-year minimum agreement required for balanced billing.
What is included in the warranty?
This service should achieve a 100% reduction in carpenter ants on your home for one year. We will return, for no additional charge, if those results are not achieved. Keep in mind that it may take 10 to 14 days after treatment to eliminate the carpenter ants on your house.
Do I need to be home?
You do not need to be home for carpenter ant service. It is outside only. Even though you may be seeing evidence of carpenter ants inside, we can control them with an outside treatment. The reason is that carpenter ants have a main colony and satellite colonies that the travel among, so they will pass through the treated area.
How does it work?
We use a non-repellent insecticide called Termidor that they do not detect. It is somewhat slow acting and allows them to spread it to their nestmates and brood. It is similar to introducing a virus to the colony. We treat the entire perimeter 1 foot up the house and 1 foot out from the house as well as along eaves.
How long does it take?
The service usually takes around 45 minutes.
How do I prepare for service?
For us to be able to do the service, all outside pets must be put up, the sprinklers must be off, outside clutter must be picked up, and there can't be any outside workers present. After the service, pets need to stay off the treated areas and people need to wear shoes in the treated areas for about 15 minutes or until the spray is dry.
How do I pay?
You will get an invoice by email immediately after service. You can pay online using a link in the email or you can pay the Technician with a credit card or check. We can securely store your credit card information for future services.
