Terms and Conditions
- Materials. The materials and methods used in pest control work shall be used in a safe manner and conform to Federal, State, and local ordinances and laws.
- Customer Cooperation. Customer cooperation is required to insure the best results and the safety of people, pets, and the environment.
- Conducive Conditions: When conditions conducive to pest breeding, harborage, or entry are reported in writing by Venus Pest Company “VPC”, and not corrected, VPC cannot assure satisfactory results.
- Safety: Clients are required to follow all instructions provided by VPC regarding preparation for services, cautionary measures during services, and cautionary measures after services. VPC is not liable for any injury, illness, property damage, or adverse effects resulting from client non-compliance with VPC instructions.
- Refund Policy.
- All Services: All sales are final. However, if VPC fails to provide satisfactory service, they shall be given thirty (30) days notice to render satisfactory service. If, at the expiration of such thirty (30) days notice, the unsatisfactory conditions have not been corrected, the Customer reserves the right to immediately cancel services and billing. Price adjustments may be negotiated after the first year.
- Balanced Billing: Monthly balanced billing payments shall recur each month unless written or verbal notice of cancellation is given by either party at least fourteen (14) days prior to the next billing cycle. A final bill will be generated for cancelled services prorated to reflect the per service value of the actual number of services that occurred during the service year.
- Privacy Policy. If you require any more information or have any questions about our privacy policy, please feel free to contact us by email at service@venuspest.com. At www.venuspest.com, the privacy of our visitors is of extreme importance to us. We absolutely do not share your information with anyone. This privacy policy document outlines the types of personal information is received and collected by www.venuspest.com and how it is used.
- Log Files: Like many other Web sites, www.venuspest.com makes use of log files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol ( IP ) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider ( ISP ), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses, and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.
- Cookies: www.venuspest.com does use cookies to store information about visitors preferences, record user-specific information on which pages the user access or visit, customize Web page content based on visitors browser type or other information that the visitor sends via their browser. If you wish to disable cookies, you may do so through your individual browser options. - Security Policy. Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.
- Ethics Policy for Venus Pest Company Employees.
- The employee will act as a faithful agent or trustee for each employer or client, and will not knowingly engage in illegal work or unethical practice, or knowingly cooperate with any person so engaged.
- The employee will show exceptionally high levels of concern and respect for people, property, the environment and wildlife.
- The employee will undertake only those entomological and wildlife control assignments for which he or she is qualified. The employee will obtain or advise the employer or client to obtain the assistance of specialists whenever the employer's or client's interests are so served best, and will cooperate with such specialists.
- The employee will indicate to the employer or client alternatives to recommended courses of action and the expected consequences of each recommended action and alternative.
- The employee will inform the employer or client of any financial interest, or other conflicting interest, he or she has in any person, material, device, or concept which is or might become involved in a project or work for the employer or client. Decisions regarding entomological or business services to be performed shall not be influenced by such interests.
- The employee will act fairly and justly toward vendors and contractors, selecting their products and services on the basis of merit and value.
- The employee will not disclose information concerning the business or personal affairs or proprietary technical processes of present or former employers or clients without their consent with the exception of illegal activities.
- The employee will not accept compensation, financial or otherwise, from more than one party for the same service, or for other services pertaining to the same work, without the consent of all interested parties.
- Disclaimer.
- Force Majeure: The responsibility of VPC under this Agreement will be terminated if VPC is prevented from fulfilling its responsibilities under the terms of this Agreement by reason of delays in transportation, shortages of fuel and/or materials, strikes, embargoes, fires, floods, quarantine restrictions, earthquakes, hurricanes or any other act of God or circumstances or cause beyond the control of VPC. VPC reserves the right to adjust the service charge in the event of any such occurrences or happenings.
- Change in Law: VPC performs services in accordance with the requirements of federal, state, and local laws. In the event of a change in existing law as it pertains to the services promised herein, VPC reserves the right to revise service charges or terminate this agreement.
- Loss of Enjoyment: Except as otherwise prohibited by statute or public policy, VPC disclaims and shall not be responsible for any liability for direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, exemplary punitive and/or loss of enjoyment damages. The obligations of VPC specifically stated in this agreement are given in lieu of any other obligation or responsibility express or implied including any representation of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

- Warranty. A description of any service purchased is included in the Service Details provided at the start of service. Descriptions contain the pest(s) included in the service, the expected level of control of those pest(s), and the length of time the pest(s) will be controlled. The warranty provides retreatment of pest(s) included in the Service Details, as needed, to achieve the level control stated in the Service Agreement during the time period stated in the Service Agreement.
- Other Pests/Organisms. This service does not provide for treatment or control of any organism not specifically stated in the Service Details.
- Damage. This service does not warranty against property damage or personal injury caused, carried by, or transmitted by any organism.
- Entire Agreement. This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and is limited to its written terms and not by any other representation, oral, or otherwise.
- Non-Payment, Default. All costs of collection for amounts past due, including but not limited to reasonable attorney’s fees, shall paid by Customer to VPC whether suit is filed or not. For amounts not paid within 30 days, VPC reserves the right to assess a late fee of 25% of the total outstanding balance per month.
